Position Title: Senior Design Consultant

Duration: Contract

Location: WFH

Essential Criteria:
• Concept design engineering
• Mule car design engineering
• Catia
• super car experience if possible
• low volume high value
• vehicle package

Nice to Have Criteria:
• Create, deliver & lead complete design proposals according to design brief and project constraints in assigned programs using CATIA v.5/
• Produce creative detailed design solutions fulfilling complex technical criteria.
• Prepare presentation material for reviews.
• Participate in exterior design reviews.
• Attend to project and engineering meetings.
• Work with, guide computer, digital, & clay modelling teams.
• 3D package modelling
• Design Sizing Analysis
• Sub system load analysis
• Joints and interface design
• Support DFMEA
• Support DVP&R
• Support DFM and DFA
• GD&T / RPS Location and Measurement Support
• Pedestrian Protection and Legal Requirements
• Carbon Fibre Design and Manufacture

Additional Information:
• 10 + years’ experience
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. engineer
• Or equivalent relevant experience
• Engineering council professional registration
• Member of professional practice organisation
• Personally managed CPD portfolio (ideally)
• Serves on local professional committees (ideally)
