Position Title: Lead Engineer - EV Safety Curriculum Developer/Trainer

Duration: Permanent

Location: Warwickshire / Remote

Role Description
- Responsible for Electric Vehicle safety curriculum development and delivery across the Clients- and to external clients.
- The role demands a high level of diligence driven by an informed EV Safety Authority.
- The role encompasses an EV Safety Framework, delivering EV Safety training operationally within a dedicated training facility to support all business function training need requirements.

- Deliver ALL necessary technical guidance and authority to achieve high standards of High Voltage electrical safety, focusing on four main areas:
- EV curriculum training and authorisation
- Accredited safety process
- HSE compliance
- External Training development and delivery

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop EV safety framework training curriculum, delivering to all business function requirements
- Assist in the develop training course material for classroom and e-learning delivery platforms
- Conduct training needs analysis across business functions
- Delivery training internally and externally covering industry specialisms
- Develop accredited aims and objectives to meet industry needs
- Work with governing bodies to deliver a high standard of accreditation
- Assist in the development EV safety standards
- Deliver a data driven approach, promoting compliance to appropriate safety regulation
- Develop, document and file business function specific EV safety Policy
- Contribute to the management and delivery of the Propulsion EV safety strategy
- Support the wider team to meet project deliverables consistently across all business functions
- Assist in the day to day running of the new training facility
- Liaise with external clients and support training needs

Essential Criteria:
- Qualified in a training or curriculum development discipline
- Internal verification experience / qualified
- Experience of OEM Service sector and development of service process
- Extensive knowledge of EV safety concepts and Safety Regulations
- A working knowledge HSE regulation (electricity at work act)
- Experience on and around BEV and PHEV system solutions and technologies
- Experience with official document creation - Standards and Requirements
- Proficient with MS Word & PowerPoint
- Strong people skills with the ability to work individually and cross functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience of meeting deadlines

Desirable Criteria:
- Experience within an engineering discipline
- Previous experience within Vehicle Engineering, Powertrain or Electrical
- Learning Management System experience
- Experience of automotive diagnostic systems
- A working knowledge HSE regulation and Market of Sale legislation
- Experience of interacting with technicians within retailer network
- Experience of complex high voltage systems and safe operating conditions
