Position Title: Product Design Engineer

Duration: Permanent for Contechs GmbH

Location: Germany

Mission description

Objectives of the mission
- 3D-models ready and capable to built tools acc.
- Customer drawing release for K-/P-release

Deliverables
- Design of complete Center Console incl. Hang-on-parts acc. Customer requirement
- Definition of RPS & tolerance stack book

Functional skills required
- CATIA V5
- Design of CC
- Design for leather wrapped parts
- Design for kinematic parts

Technical skills
- Autonomous in defining RPS, tolerance stack, Fit and finish in line with Development Eng. and Geometry Center
- Knowledge of Automotive OEM specifications, regulations and legislations"
- Able to interpret CAE simulation and testing results for optimization of Design
- Able to define functional (Internal) drawings and customer drawings
- Knowledge of FIS core manufacturing technologies (injection, welding, fixing, covering)
- Manage and ensure Quality and delivery of CAD (2D & 3D) in his zone
- Ensure product feasibility
- Autonomous in Concept Development (design, function, part structure, assembly sequence, DFA, fixing and locating) and documentation in cross section book, drawing and 3D concept"

Software skills required
- CATIA V5
- office applications


Support skills required
- Able to lead design team in India, assign design work
- Follow D&D processes and maintain appropriate documentation
- D-FMEA support
- KPC identification and formalization
