Position Title: Design Engineer (Routing & Packaging)

Duration: Permanent

Location: Germany

Main tasks and responsibility
- Responsible for development and packaging of wiring harnesses according to customer requirements and specifications
- Timely implementation of design changes in regards to prototype and mass production phases under consideration of required change management demands
- Responsible to ensure compliance of internal harness manufacturing requirements (DFM) and customer assembly requirements (DFA)
- Support of Design Verification Process (DVP) activities
- Onsite build support internal and at customer site
- Onsite support of design development activities
- Attendance in customer meetings and design reviews
- Attendance in VAVE cost reduction activities
- Analysis and implementation of electrical system information in to the wiring harness drawings

Education
- electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or automotive engineering degree, alternatively

Qualifications
- acquired through relevant vocational education and extensive qualified training

Experience:
- Several years of technical experience in EDS
- Knowledge in 3D Design and C3P
- Good English language skills in spoken and written
