Position Title: Direct Production Buyer
Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract
Location: Gaydon
Division: Purchasing
Position Description:
• Trading Division Senior Buyer - Supply Chain Management, Supplier Performance Management, Order maintenance, Ensuring parts and ready to trade, main customers China / Brazil & India, commodity management of a specific group of parts, maintain compliance with Purchasing to pay process.
Skills Required:
• Supplier Performance Management, drive key suppliers to maintain on time delivery performance and maintain competitive cost base.
• Data Management - ability to maintain and manage order book for assigned commodities, Purchasing order maintenance and problem solving of errors
• Project management - work with and engage with numerous stakeholders, cross functionally to achieve common goals.
Experience Required:
• Strong Communicator / effective team player / highly organised and continuous focus on attention to detail / Experience of working in SAP / strong leadership and influencing skills / strong understanding of business process / Strong systems skills and highly confident with Microsoft office and excel.
• Managing supplier performance, generating, and delivering performance data to highlight gaps in performance.
Experience Preferred:
• Experience in delivering results in favourable and unfavourable conditions / ability to challenge data in a positive way / experience of dealing with global companies with high value revenue.
