Position Title: Shipping and Export Coordinator
Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract
Location: Solihull
Division: Purchasing
Position Description:
• Freight Operations Analyst
Skills Required:
• Freight Operations and/or Freight Planning skillset.
• Has worked in a fast paced transport / freight / logistics environment Data analysis and interrogation skillset
• Good standard in Use of Excel, comfortable working in data and can show trends, root causes through data, can also visualise data for management decision making
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders across the supply chain and at varying levels in an organisation

Experience Required:
• General inbound freight responsibilities - Ensure a robust freight collection plan exists for all material supplied on FCA terms.
• This should include outbound planning for pallet returns where appropriate
• Ensure all transit parameters are maintained within the Clients’ systems CMMS3 & SAP
• Support and manage all vendor relocations/changes, reviewing operational and commercial impacts and ensuring transition impacts are minimal.
• Support new model and model year introductions ensuring development of optimised inbound freight plans.
• Assist LLP to design, implement and manage re-plans in the freight network to support monthly Operations Strategy build variances.
• Ensure optimised 'best cost' solution is delivered.
• Perform physical audits of vehicles to measure timeslot adherence, utilisation, packaging and labelling etc.
• Support customs related continuous improvement by working with suppliers, the LLP and Client customs teams
• Work on strategic initiatives within inbound freight to deliver a cost saving, efficiency improvement or an improved process
• Degree standard or broad range of experiences
Experience Preferred:
• Brexit related responsibilities - Ongoing support for Brexit process development, continuous improvement, input to steering reviews and overall co-ordination
• Development of vendors regarding application of Shipment Reference Number process to enable vehicle tracking Line by line shipment delay co-ordination, improvement actions, daily analysis of red / ambers to create working list Inputting all freight errors into
• Purchasing error log - maintaining status and point of escalation into Purchasing Daily cross reference of red and amber shipments vs end to end tracker, daily feedback into freight provider for missing supplier paperwork, chasing vendors for missing supplier paperwork, analysis of collections vs status, off-site customs issue resolution with Buyers Plant shortage management and related issue resolution Less than Truck Load Trunks meetings and progress chasing
